On November 10th, 2018 Tony Barrett and "Team Tony" raised $34,110 for the Orange County Chapter's Walk to Defeat ALS held in Irvine, California. Donations for this event go towards ALS research, care and public awareness. Tony (aka Dogbomb) is a shining example of an individual and has inspired many. One of his many interests is the furry fandom and I was proud to help assist him with this walk by rallying the furry community through twitter and instagram to raise funds for this event. What started as a hope for $1,000 quickly blossomed through social media to a very generous $34,110. For the walk at least 50 fursuiters participated and 2 drones were involved to record the event (all with permission of the organizers). This video is a celebration for all of Team Tony and the many donors who blew through goal after goal with our fundraising efforts. Many thanks to Gregory Sabala for starting the walk event and organizing the non-furry portion. Thank you to Denise Greek (plus her fellow organizers) for her help and support with the Orange County Chapter to allow us to bring forth this amazing effort plus bring smiles to the other walkers. Thanks to Ryker Husky for his help organizing the online chat group and keeping my information spreadsheet up to date and fancy for all of our participants. Lastly thank you to all of our many donors and friends on social media helping to spread the word to make this a tremendous record breaking success.
